This homemade chutney is perfect with cheese or meats.

 400 g tinned whole tomatoes
 1 spanish onion, chopped
 75 ml apple cider vinegar
 ½ cup brown sugar
 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Take a medium saucepan and heat on medium. Add a little olive oil and add the onions with a pinch of salt. Allow them to soften and add the tine of tomatoes.

Now add in the sugar, cider vinegar and Worcestershire.

Turn the heat down and allow to simmer for 45 minutes. The chutney should have a jam like consistency . Allow to cool and store in sterilised jars in the fridge.
